Join The 19th Edition of International Female Ride Day: The Global Tribute to Women in Motorcycling and Powersports
This year, we celebrate the 19th Edition of International Female Ride Day® (IFRD), uniting women riders from across the globe in a powerful, synchronized celebration of motorcycling, motorsports, and powersports. On Saturday 3 May women will embrace their passion for riding by taking to roads, trails, and tracks to “just ride”. IFRD highlights and celebrates the achievements of women riders within the motorcycling and powersports world while advancing women’s participation in these activities. The day recognizes the profound sense of freedom and connection that powersports experiences foster.
IFRD Global Phenomenon
International Female Ride Day® began with a simple yet powerful idea: to advance women riders by creating a visible, united presence and increasing their equity within the powersports world. Since its inception, it evolved worldwide celebrated in over 120 countries, with participants of all ages and skill levels. From casual weekend riders to professional racers, IFRD welcomes all women who share the love of two wheels (or three!).
The Power Of Participation
The motto of IFRD, “Just Ride!” encapsulates its spirit. Whether you’re navigating city streets, carving through mountain roads, or conquering off-road trails, your participation matters. IFRD isn’t just a ride; it’s a statement of unity, strength, and inclusivity in motorcycling and beyond. It’s a day for women to stand together and inspire others to join the ride.
A Legacy Of Inspiration
For nearly two decades, IFRD has shone a spotlight on women riders, showcasing their diverse stories, achievements, and impact on the motorcycling world. This day has empowered countless women to take up riding, fostering a global community where every rider feels seen and celebrated. IFRD has also inspired advancements in motorsport and powersport industries, championing the importance of representation and equity.
On And Off The Road
IFRD isn’t limited to those who ride motorcycles. It’s a celebration of all women in motorsports and powersports, including racers, mechanics, advocates, and enthusiasts. Whether you’re riding, wrenching, or cheering from the sidelines, IFRD is a moment to honour your contributions to this incredible community.
