GoPro and other action-cams

Hello ladies and gentle-people 😉
Who of you uses cameras, which models and where do you mount them? Are there any alternatives, that you have tried and tested, for attaching it to the helmet? I use my Bell Bullitt almost exclusively and since the bridge at the bottom is very narrow, that won’t be easy. There is a US mounting set for this helmet – but the pictures, of what the assembled end-result looks like, didn’t convince me…  🙁 I love the helmet precisely because of the fantastic visibility- and wouldn‘t like to have such a monster mounted in my field of vision…and ideas? What do you use and how?

So I would be very happy to hear reports about action cameras- and where to adjust those!

Take care

Start of the season!!!

⚡️ Start of the season!!! ⚡️

Spring is coming Birds are chirping.

Time to twist the throttle again!

Are you getting your motorcycle out of hibernation? Then it’s time to check a few things!

⚡️ Your motorcycle:

  • Clean thoroughly ⚡️
  • Tires ⚡️
  • Check tire tread and air pressure.
  • Do you need new tires at the start of the season or does the tire still have good tread?
  • Does the tire have a flat side due to the standing time and does it behave unusually while driving?
  • Battery ⚡️
  • did you expand them? Then check the charge level and reinstall.
  • Otherwise check the charge and, if necessary, the liquid level.
  • Liquids ⚡️
  • Is the oil level ok? Is it time for an oil change?
  • Sufficient coolant?
  • Check brakes and clutch: ⚡️
  • Is the brake fluid level okay?
  • Are the brake pads thick enough?
  • Are the brake and clutch cables OK?
  • Brake and clutch levers: do the pressure and friction points fit, do they return correctly to the starting position?
  • Chain, pinion and gear: ⚡️
  • Is the chain tension okay?
  • Is she still well greased?
  • Are the pinion and gear worn out?
  • Shock absorber and fork ⚡️
  • Are the seals okay? Do they dip well and bounce back easily?
  • Are steering head, wheel and swingarm bearings free-moving?
  • Lighting systems: ⚡️
  • Are turn signals, headlights, rear lights, brake lights functional and adjusted correctly?

⚡️ Your equipment:

Is everything still OK? Are the helmet, motorcycle clothing, gloves and boots in order? If there are tears, broken seams or other damage, it means repairing or replacing.

If you haven’t already done so in winter: clean everything, grease leather, impregnate textiles.

⚡️ You yourself:

Are you rusty over winter? Or did you keep moving?

If you haven’t ridden in a while, start slowly and maybe practice a few maneuvers. It is best to start on a familiar route to get back on your bike.
